وأشار مركز طقس العرب الإقليمي عبر تقاريره الصادرة بشكل يومي على تطور حالة من عدم الاستقرار الجوي مطلع هذا الأسبوع على أن تشتد في المنطقة الجنوبية الغربية وتمتد أيضا صوب منطقة المدنية المنورة وبعض الاحياء الجنوبية من تبوك خلال الأيام القادمة.

يذكر أن محافظة العقيق هي إحدى محافظات منطقة الباحة وتبعد عن منطقة الباحة 45 كم. وتلتقي العقيق حدودياً مع محافظة بيشة التابعة لمنطقة عسير ومع منطقة مكة المكرمة لمجاورتها لكل من رنية وتربة وتتميز بمناخ معتدل وممطر وحار ودافئ شتاءً.
