Rainfall from the Arabian Sea is approaching the Sultanate of Oman

RIYADH - A rainy condition is expected to affect Oman as of Thursday and continue over the weekend, with varying intensity of rainfall in large areas of the country.

The situation on the coastal areas bordering the Arabian Sea later extends to parts of the interior.

Cause of the rainy weather in Oman

An air system works on the dampness of moisture in the various layers of the air from the Arabian Sea towards the south of the Arabian Peninsula. Its moisture moves directly to southern Yemen and the Sultanate of Oman.
