Arab Weather - Computer models at the Arab Weather Center indicate a decline in the severe heat wave that affected large parts of Iraq, Kuwait and areas of the eastern Arabian Peninsula during the past few days, during which temperatures reached and exceeded 50 degrees Celsius in some areas.
According to the latest updates, temperatures in Iraq and Kuwait have returned to their usual levels for this time of year, recording levels in the forties that are considered within the normal framework for the summer climate in the region, after the decline in the impact of the very hot air mass that dominated the atmosphere recently.
The eastern regions of Saudi Arabia are also witnessing a noticeable decrease in temperatures compared to previous days, with expectations that this decrease will gradually extend towards the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman by the end of the week, so that the intensity of the very hot weather will decrease there, while the weather will remain hot to very hot, but daytime temperatures will be within the normal averages for this time of year.
As for the Levant, forecasts indicate that heat waves will continue to stay away from the region until the end of June, with typical summer weather prevailing in most areas, without any indication of being affected by extremely hot air masses during the remainder of the month.
This is attributed to the continued concentration of hotter air masses to the east and southeast of the region, keeping the Levant within the range of normal summer weather compared to the high temperatures experienced in other parts of the Middle East.
And God knows best.
