موقع ArabiaWeather.com - تعرضت مناطق غرب جزيرة كريت اليونانية وسط البحر المتوسط عصر السبت 12-10-2013 إلى زلزال بقوة 6.5 درجة على مقياس ريختر ، وصل تأثيره بعيداً جداً نحو كل من ليبيا و مصر، حيثُ وردت تقارير عن شعور أهل القاهرة به.

 

الهزة وقعت على بعد 40 كيلومتراً إلى الغرب من بلدة بلاتونوس اليونانية ، و على عمق 60 كيلومتراً داخل الأرض.

 

الزلزال دام تأثيره لأكثر من 30 ثانية أرعبت سُكان جزيرة كريت ، في حين وصلت الاهتزازات إلى شمال مصر و القاهرة و دامت نحو 10 ثواني.

 

و لم ترد إلى الآن أي تقارير تُشير إلى وقوع أضرار أو ضحايا.
