موقع ArabiWeather.com- أدى زلزال قوي ضرب شمال شرق الهند إلى مقتل 11 على الأقل واصابة 130 آخرين بحسب آخر احصائية مُعلنة من قبل الحكومة، وسط توقعات بارتفاع أعداد الضحايا خلال الساعات القادمة.

 

وقالت هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكية إن زلزالا بقوة 6.8 درجة ضرب شرقي الهند صباح اليوم الاثنين 4-1-2016م، وسُجل الزلزال على عُمق عمق 57 كيلومترا، وعلى بعد 29 كيلومترا غربي إمفال.

 

وأدى الزلزال إلى انهيار أسطح بعض المباني في المدينة التي يبلغ عدد سكانها نحو 270 ألف نسمة، فيما يكافح رجال الإنقاذ للعثور على عمال يعتقد أنهم دفنوا تحت أنقاض مبنى تحت الإنشاء، ولكنهم غير متأكدين من العدد المحاصر تحت الأنقاض.
