The Jordan Valley Authority announces the start of flooding at the Al-Wahidi Dam following a wave of heavy rains.

Amman – The Jordan Valley Authority announced today that the Al-Wahidi Dam has begun to overflow, as a result of the heavy rains that the Kingdom witnessed during the past hours, which were accompanied by heavy thunderstorms.

In an official statement, the authority warned all citizens against approaching flood channels and valleys, stressing the need to exercise caution and follow the instructions of the competent authorities to ensure their safety.

The statement noted that these warnings come as rainwater continues to flow towards the dam, calling on the media and the public to follow the latest developments through official channels.
