يُتوقع أن يستمر تحرك الإعصار مكونو نحو السواحل العمانية خلال 24 ساعة المقبلة، حيث يُصنف حاليًا من "الدرجة الأولى" ويبعد عن مدينة صلالة ما يقارب 400 كم، على أن تزداد غزارة الأمطار  وقوة الرياح مع ساعات المساء والليل.

 

غداً الجُمعة ، يُتوقع ان يضرب مركز الإعصار السواحل العُمانية قرب مدينة صلالة تدريجيًا خلال اليوم، مترافقاً مع رياح عاتية وامواج عالية، وجالباً للسواحل العُمانية الجنوبية  كميّات كبيرة جداً من الأمطار، تقدر بمئات الملمترات.

 

ويستمر تأثير المنظومة الجوية يوم السبت لتهطل كمية كبيرة جدا من الأمطار داخل الاراضي العمانية وتحديدا في محافظتي ظفار والوسطى، إضافة إلى الأجزاء الشرقية من اليمن.

 

يُحذر من خطر تشكل الفيضانات في محافظتي ظفار والوسطى وأقصى شرق اليمن،  ودخول مياه البحر إلى الشواطئ في مدينة صلالة وما حولها
