موقع ArabiaWeather.com- سنان خلف - في حادثة نادرة تمكنت طائرة تابعة للإدارة الوطنية للمحيطات والغلاف الجوي المعروفة بـ " NOAA" من التحليق فوق عين الإعصار "ماثيو" المدمر لأغراض دراسية وبحثية.

 

وتعرضت الطائرة خلال في الدقائق الأخيرة التي سبقت وصولها لعين الإعصار مطباتٍ هوائية قوية، بالرغم من تحليقها فوق السُحب على ارتفاع شاهق، ويلاحظ من خلال الفيديو استقرار الأجواء في عين الإعصار وخلوها من السُحب على عكس المناطق المحيطة بها.

 

ويتراوح قطر عين الإعصار عادة ما بين 20- 30 كم، ويكون الضغط الجوي فيها منخفض جدا، وتمتاز بهدوء الرياح وتسود فيها تيارات هوائية هابطة وتخلو من الغيوم، وكلما كان الإعصار قويا كانت هذه العين واضحة وكبيرة، وتدور الرياح حول العين بعكس عقارب الساعة في النصف الشمالي من الكرة الأرضية ويحدث العكس في النصف الجنوبي.
