Arab Weather - As a heat dome continues to dominate North Africa, the latest weather maps from Arab Weather indicate that Algeria and Tunisia are increasingly affected by a high-pressure system and an extremely hot air mass, whose impact is largely concentrated across large areas of the country and Tunisia.
God willing, temperatures are expected to rise significantly on Monday, exceeding averages by more than 10 degrees Celsius in Tunisia, while they will be 7-9 degrees higher than average in Algeria, amid hot to extremely hot weather during the day and warmer weather at night.
Arab Weather forecasters said the latest weather data indicates a significant rise in temperatures in the capital, Tunis, on Monday, with temperatures approaching 45°C between noon and afternoon, exceeding their usual average by more than 10°C, amidst the expected extremely hot weather.
In Algeria, temperatures are expected to approach or exceed 40 degrees Celsius in large parts of the central and northern parts of the country. High temperatures include Constantine, M'Sila, and Bou Saada, in addition to large parts of the southern regions, where temperatures are expected to approach 45 degrees Celsius during the day tomorrow. Meanwhile, the heat will be less intense in coastal areas due to the flow of cooler sea currents, which will prevent temperatures from rising significantly.
