موقع ArabiaWeather.com- أعلن مسؤولو هيئة المراكز الأميركية لمكافحة الأمراض والوقاية منها، عن قيام الهيئة بمراقبة عدد من الأشخاص، يُتوقع أنهم تعرضوا للإصابة بسلالة جديدة من فيروس انفلونزا الطيور عُثر عليها في أسراب من الديوك الرومية بولاية إنديانا.

 

وبين المسؤول الطبي بالهيئة، مايكل جونغ، أن الهيئة ومسؤولي الصحة المحليين يدرسون احتمالات إصابة الإنسان بعدوى مرتبطة بسلالة جديدة من انفلونزا الطيور تعرف باسم (إتش7إن8)، لافتا بالوقت ذاته أنه لم يتوصلوا حتى اللحظة لنتائج تؤكد ذلك.

 

وأبدى استعداد المراكز الأميركية لمكافحة الأمراض والوقاية منها وإدارات الصحة المحلية، لتطبيق برنامج صُمم العام الماضي 2015 بعد تفشي انفلونزا الطيور على نطاق واسع في الدواجن، مشيرا أن الهيئة ستراقب الأشخاص الذين يخالطون الطيور المصابة بالعدوى.
