موقع ArabiaWeather.com- تسببت العاصفة ايموجين بقطع الكهرباء عن نحو 15 ألف منزل في جنوب بريطانيا، وويلز بسبب الرياح العاتية والأمطار الغزيرة المصاحبة له.

 

وكانت هيئة الأرصاد البريطانية قد حذرت من أن سرعة الرياح وصلت إلى 90 ميلا فى الساعة فى المناطق الجنوبية من البلاد، بينما تراوحت سرعة الرياح في أجزاء أخرى من البلاد بين 70 إلى 80 ميلا فى الساعة، وخاصة في ويلز.

 

وعانت خدمة السكك الحديدية من بعض الأعطال، بينما تم الغاء خدمات العبارات عبر القناة بسبب الأمواج العالية.

 

و يذكر أن العاصفة "ايموجين" تمكنت أيضاً من خلع أشجار وقطع خطوط الكهرباء ‏وإحداث فوضى على الطرق السريعة.‏
