موقع طقس العرب - تسببت عواصف رعدية شديدة اليوم الاحد في إلغاء العشرات من رحلات الطيران بمطار بيرسون الدولي بمدينة تورنتو في كندا.

وقال المتحدث باسم الملاحة الجوية في كندا جوناثان باج في بيان له أن العاصفة أدت إلى إلغاء 80 رحلة كان من المقرر وصولها إلى مطار تورنتو الدولي، جراء شدة البرق الذي أثر على جداول الرحلات بالمطار في حين بلغت سرعة الرياح إلى 180 كيلومترا في الساعة .

وكانت وزارة البيئة الكندية قد أصدرت امس السبت تحذيرات من وقوع عواصف رعدية شديدة غرب مقاطعة أونتاريو وأدت إلى سقوط خطوط للكهرباء وتم الإبلاغ عن أضرار جسيمة في العديد من الممتلكات.
