فيتامين الشمس "د" يساهم في علاج مرض السل

طقس العرب- أضافت دراسة جديدة أجريت مؤخرًا في جامعة كوين ماري في لندن، فائدة جديد إلى فيتامين "د" التي تعد الشمس أهم مصادره، حيث أنه  يساهم  في علاج مرض السل المقاوم للأدوية المضادة للبكتيريا.

 

وأجرى الباحثون الدراسة على 1850 مريض بالسل يتلقون العلاج بالمضادات الحيوية، وكان نصفهم يتناول مكملات فيتامين "د".

 

ووجد الباحثون أن مكملات  الفيتامين ساهمت سرّعت بإزالة بكتيريا السل من الرئتين لدى المرضى، مقارنة بمن لم يتلقوا تلك المكملات.

 

وبين رئيس الفريق البحثي، البروفيسور أدريان مارتينو أن فيتامين "د" يمكن أن يفيد مجموعة من المرضى الذين يصعب علاجهم من خلال اتباع نهج جديد لعلاجهم، مبينًا أن استخدام فيتامين "د"  آمن للغاية وغير مكلف.

 

ويمكن الحصول على  فيتامين "د" بتناول بعض الأطعمة مثل الأسماك الدهنية كالسلمون والسردين والتونة، وزيت السمك وكبد البقر والبيض، أو تناول مكملات هذا الفيتامين المتوافرة بالصيدليات.
