Arab Weather - Significant temperature fluctuations will continue to affect Jordan over the coming days. Arab Weather computer maps indicate that the Kingdom will be affected during the second half of the week by a moderate air mass coming from the eastern Mediterranean basin, working to push away the hot air mass.
The effects of the hot air mass will recede from the western part of the Kingdom on Tuesday, while continuing in the east. Temperatures will tend to drop significantly in the western regions, becoming close to their average for this time of year. The weather will be moderate in most regions, tending to be hot during the afternoon and evening periods, while it will remain hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and the desert areas of the eastern part of the Kingdom. The winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, and will become clearly active during the day, accompanied by strong gusts at times, causing dust in the desert and open areas.
The drop in temperature is not limited to the daytime hours only, as nighttime temperatures also drop, and the weather becomes pleasant early in the evening, turning relatively cold during the late night and dawn hours, especially over the high mountains and eastern plains with the appearance of low clouds, which leads to the formation of fog over the peaks of the mountainous heights.
Indicators indicate that the Kingdom is being affected by a moderate air mass coming across the eastern Mediterranean basin. As a result, temperatures will continue to drop and become cooler than average. The weather will be spring-like and moderate during the daytime, with clouds appearing at low and medium altitudes. Westerly winds will be active in several areas, causing dust storms in the south and east of the Kingdom.
Nighttime temperatures will drop, and the weather will be relatively cold to cold in the late night and early morning hours. This will require a coat, especially for those living in the highlands. This coincides with a significant increase in surface humidity levels and the spread of low clouds, which may lead to the formation of fog over some high mountainous areas.
And God knows best.
