انخفاض استخدام الأكياس البلاستيكية في بريطانيا بعد فرض غرامة مالية

موقع ArabiaWeather.com- أعلن أكبر متجر للبقالة في بريطانيا أن الغرامة التي فرضتها الحكومة البريطانية على استخدام الأكياس البلاستيكية أدت إلى خفض استخدام المتسوقين لها في انجلترا بنسبة 78%.

وكانت الحكومة قد فرضت غرامة قدرها خمسة بنسات على الأكياس البلاستيكية في البلاد اعتباراً من شهر تشرين الأول الماضي بهدف تقليص استخدامها حفاظاً على البيئة. وفرضت أيضاً نفس الغرامة في ويلز واسكتلندا.
