Jordanians have no public holidays for 2021 except for one day

Weather of Arabia - Since the beginning of this year, Jordanians have enjoyed many public holidays during the week, which are:

• Emergency holiday due to weather conditions (Wednesday 17 February - Thursday 18 February)
• Anniversary of the establishment of the first Jordanian government in Transjordan (Sunday, April 11)
• Happy Eid Al Fitr (Tuesday 11 May - Saturday 15 May)
• Independence Day (Tuesday, May 25)
• Eid Al-Adha (Monday 19 July - Friday 23 July)
• Islamic New Year (Tuesday, August 10)

There are two occasions in which public holidays are issued in Jordan: the Prophet's Birthday, which falls on a Monday, and the Glorious Birthday, which falls on a Saturday.

This means that there is one day left of the official holidays in Jordan for the year 2021, which is:

• Anniversary of the Prophet’s Birthday (Monday, October 18)
