Why did Jordanians watch the sunset yesterday in a distinctive red color?!

Arab weather - the sunset appeared yesterday in a distinctive red color that many Jordanians saw, and we received many inquiries about the reason for this distinctive sunset of the sun, and the reason for this was the presence of fumes from severe fires in the forests of Turkey and Lebanon, but why do these fumes turn the color of Sunset to red like this?!
