Arab Weather - The UAE and Oman continue to experience almost daily rain clouds accompanied by varying degrees of rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunder. These rains primarily affect the Sultanate of Oman and, to a lesser extent, parts of the eastern and southern UAE.

Arab Weather experts said that these rains are the result, God willing, of the warm, humid monsoon winds sweeping in from the Arabian Sea. These humid winds interact with the mountain ranges southeast of the Arabian Peninsula, leading to the development of cumulus clouds and rainfall in those areas, accompanied by thunder, occasional hail, and the formation of downdrafts.

Arabia Weather forecasters said the latest weather maps indicate a continued flow of rain clouds tomorrow, accompanied by renewed chances of rain after noon and afternoon hours. These clouds will include the Al Hajar Mountains in the Sultanate of Oman and some neighboring areas, with forecasts of the rain spreading later in the afternoon and evening to some eastern and southern parts of the UAE.
