Arab Weather - The latest satellite images in Arab Weather indicate that the Kingdom will continue to be affected by the fourth-degree depression in the coming hours. The weather will be cold in all regions and very cold in the high mountain areas. The weather will also be stormy and cloudy with rainfall, God willing, in the north, center and east of the Kingdom, with the rain extending to the Karak Governorate. The rain will be heavy and accompanied by showers of hail, which will be heavy at times, especially over the high mountain areas.
During the afternoon hours, precipitation is expected to reach parts of the Tafila Governorate, taking the form of snow showers over the peaks of Qadisiyah and Rashadiyah, and may accumulate on the high peaks.
Strong southwesterly to westerly winds will blow across the Kingdom in all regions, with gusts ranging from severe to stormy, especially in the south and east of the Kingdom, causing dust and sand to blow across the outer desert roads and border crossings (especially those that do not experience rainfall).
During the evening and night, precipitation is expected to take the form of snow showers over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains, including the peaks of Rashadiyah and Qadisiyah in the Tafilah Governorate, and the peaks of Shobak, Petra District, Southern Taybeh and the west of Ma’an Governorate, with the possibility of freezing on the peaks of the Sharah Mountains.
Rain is expected, God willing, at intervals in parts of the north, central and eastern parts of the Kingdom, in addition to parts of the Karak and Tafila governorates and the western highlands of Ma’an. The rain will be accompanied by hail at times, and precipitation is expected to be in the form of snow showers over the peaks of the Shara Mountains, including the peaks of Rashadiyah and Qadisiyah in the Tafila governorate, and the peaks of Shobak, Petra district, southern Taybeh and the western part of the Ma’an governorate, with the possibility of freezing on the peaks of the Shara Mountains.
Strong winds are blowing across the Sharah Mountains in the south of the Kingdom, with gusts estimated to exceed 110 km/h, which calls for preparedness and attention.
And God knows best.
