مقتل ثمانية أطفال وامرأة في انهيارات أرضية في شمال شرق الهند

طقس العرب-  تسببت الأمطار الغزيرة في شمال شرق الهند بانهيارات أرضية أمس الأربعاء _وتحديدًا في تامينجلونج على مسافة 155 كيلومترا غربي إمفال عاصمة ولاية مانيبو؛ مما أسفر عن مقتل ثمانية أطفال وامرأة.

 

وقال رافيندر سينغ حاكم المنطقة: ”قتل تسعة أشخاص في الإجمال وهم ثمانية أطفال وامرأة في ثلاثة انهيارات أرضية منفصلة في منطقة تامينجلونج منذ صباح الأربعاء“.

 

وقال إن عمال الإغاثة يبحثون عن المزيد من الأشخاص المدفونين تحت الأنقاض.

 

وقتلت الانهيارات الأرضية الناتجة عن أمطار موسمية غزيرة في جنوب آسيا عشرات الأشخاص وشردت أكثر من مليون أغلبهم في شمال شرق الهند وبنجلادش منذ يونيو حزيران الماضي.
