Arab Weather - The latest outputs from the Arab Weather Regional Center's numerical models indicate that Iraq will be affected by a hot air mass in the coming days. Therefore, temperatures are expected to rise further, and the weather will be generally hot, with highs around the 40s Celsius in most areas, particularly in the central and southern regions, including the capital, Baghdad.
Clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes, interspersed with cumulus clouds over the northern mountains. Local showers accompanied by thunderstorms are likely in parts of these regions, accompanied by light to moderate winds, which will sometimes be active and cause dust storms, especially in the southern regions.
The influence of the hot air mass is expected to intensify at the end of this week and the beginning of next week, with extremely hot weather expected across various regions, particularly in the central and southern regions. Medium and high clouds will continue to appear, and there is a chance of local thunderstorms in parts of the northern mountains.
As the heat intensifies over the weekend, high temperatures are expected to reach the 40s Celsius in various regions, including the capital, Baghdad, and may reach the mid-40s in some southern areas next Monday.
And God knows best.
