The Meteorology Department reported that during the past (36) hours until 9 pm on Saturday, the Kingdom witnessed varying intensities of rainfall as a result of being affected by a state of atmospheric instability, with some areas recording good amounts of rain.

According to the weather monitoring stations of the administration, the Al-Jubaiha area in the capital Amman recorded the highest amount of rainfall, amounting to 10.5 mm, followed by Al-Mafraq with 9.9 mm, and then Al-Hussein Gardens in Amman with 8.5 mm.

Wadi Al-Dhalil and Al-Quwaysimah in Amman recorded about 8 mm, while the amount of rainfall in Amman Civil Airport (Marka) reached 7.6 mm, Zarqa and Madaba about 7.5 mm, and Salt 7.3 mm.

The Meteorological Department indicated that Queen Alia International Airport recorded 6.9 mm, while Ras Munif/Ajloun recorded 6.2 mm, Al-Ghabawi 5.5 mm, and Al-Safawi 5 mm, while the rest of the amounts recorded in various regions of the Kingdom ranged between 0.3 and 4.5 mm until nine o'clock on Saturday evening.

The administration confirmed that it will continue to monitor weather developments and issue updates as they occur.
