أمطار غزيرة تساقطت يوم الأربعاء 6-2-2013 على محافظة العقبة ومُحيطها إستمرت ل 5 ساعات مُتتالية وعملت على تشكل السيول الجارفة في المحافظة وادت الى حدوث أضرار مادية خاصة في البنية التحتية للمدينة.

هذا وتساقطت يوم أمس تقريبا ً 20 ملم على محافظة العقبة ويعتبر هذا الرقم قياسي وكبير بالنسبة للمحافظة التي يبلغ معدلها السنوي العام   26 ملم .
