Weather of Arabia - Environmental activist, Abdul Rahman Al-Jaber warned against planting the "Conacarpus" plant around homes, as this causes damage to humans, buildings and tanks.

Al-Jaber added that such plants cause allergies, and their roots penetrate and damage pipes and tanks, in addition to containing a resinous substance that has an unpleasant odor.

He advised removing these plants, and planting flowers, climbers, and cacti of all kinds, adding that shade trees that rise to 5 meters, such as ficus trees, coastal hibiscus, poinciana, neem, and Cassia jeluca, can be planted.
