An earthquake struck a short while ago off the Lebanese coast.

Arab Weather - Earthquake observatories have just recorded an earthquake off the southern coast of Lebanon with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale.

The earthquake occurred at 10:52 AM, approximately 56 kilometers west of the city of Sidon in Lebanon.

Many residents of Lebanon and rural Damascus in Syria, as well as residents of northern Palestine, reported feeling the earthquake.
