Weather of Arabia - 20 people were killed and 29 others were injured in a bus rollover accident, Monday afternoon at Aqabat Shaar, the link between the city of Abha and Mahayil Asir Governorate, southwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi newspaper Okaz quoted sources as saying that the cause of the accident was the ventilation of the bus's brakes, and then it collided with a bridge, overturned and caught fire. The sources added that the bus was carrying a number of pilgrims.

For its part, the civil defense teams, the Red Crescent and the security authorities went to the site of the accident, and Aqaba remains closed until ten o'clock on Monday evening.

The bodies and the injured are being transported to a number of hospitals in the area.

We ask God Almighty for healing for the injured, mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, and to inspire their families with patience
