Arab Weather - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Jordan Valley Authority said that the amount of rain and valley flow that entered the dams during the past 24 hours amounted to about 3 million cubic meters, bringing the total storage in the 15 main dams to 74 million m³, which is 25.6% of their storage capacity of 288,128 million m³.

 

The amount of rain falling in all regions from the beginning of the season until this morning raised the rainy season to 22.9%, noting that the rainfall rate last year for the same period recorded 60.3%, which was reflected in good amounts entering the dams until this morning, Thursday.

The highest quantities recorded were in Mujib Dam, which received 1.6 million cubic meters, reaching 12.588 million m3 with a storage rate of 51%, while King Talal Dam received 631 thousand cubic meters, reaching 35.290 million cubic meters with a storage rate of 52.6%. The remaining quantity was distributed among various dams, except for Al-Wala, Ibn Hammad and Al-Fidan dams.
