15 people were killed in floods in the US state of Utah

ArabiaWeather.com - The US authorities announced that 15 people, including 6 children, were killed in flash floods in the western state of Utah last Monday.

The floods occurred in the city of Hilldale, on the border with the state of Arizona.

Among the 12 dead were members of two families who were in two cars that were swept away by the torrential rains in the small town of Hilldale.

The other three fatalities were caught off guard by the rapid rise in water levels in Zion National Park, northeast of Las Vegas.
