342 fires during 24 hours in Jordan

Weather of Arabia - The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that during the past 24 hours, civil defense cadres dealt with 342 fires of agricultural crops, forest trees, fruit and dry herbs.

He stated that these fires have brought large areas of land, adding that the speed of response has had a role in putting out these fires.

He added that the civil defense cadres also dealt with (5984) different ambulances, as necessary for them were secured and their access to hospitals, and 33 rescue incidents were dealt with, in addition to sterilization and disinfection of 366 vehicles, facilities and sites in various governorates, especially on the border crossings through Hazardous substances team.
