Arab Weather - Arab Weather experts are closely monitoring significant changes expected to affect the weather in the Levant region by the end of this week. This change, God willing, will see the center of a heat dome approach the region more closely than usual for the first time since the beginning of the current summer.
The latest weather maps from ArabiaWeather indicate that the upper high, which has been centered in the northeastern Arabian Peninsula for a while now, is moving westward, forming a heat dome expected to penetrate large areas of the Levant by the end of this week, accompanied by an extremely hot air mass at the surface.
God willing, this system is expected to be accompanied by a significant rise in temperatures, affecting most of the Levant countries. Temperatures in the capital, Damascus, are expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius by the end of the week, while they will approach 40 degrees Celsius in Amman and Jerusalem by next Friday. The eastern regions of Lebanon will also be affected by a significant rise in temperatures, amid hot to extremely hot weather.
Arab Weather forecasters said that the Badia region of the Levant is expected to be significantly affected by rising temperatures, with temperatures expected to reach the mid-forties Celsius, due to its proximity to the axis of the hot air mass coming from the south and southeast.
And God knows best.
