Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest outputs from what is called computer simulation and satellite images indicate that the coasts of the Levant, specifically Syria and Lebanon, are affected by a cold and humid air mass, with a low pressure system crossing in the upper layers of the atmosphere, where clouds multiply and showers of rain fall on coastal areas, including Latakia and Tartous, in addition to the mountains overlooking the coasts.

The rain coincides with thunderstorms and hail in some areas, and the rain clouds gradually extend towards the interior regions, where showers of rain fall of varying intensity, accompanied by lightning and thunder.

Snowfall is also expected to continue on the high mountain peaks, especially those that are more than 2000 meters above sea level in Syria and Lebanon, falling and accumulating snow amidst a deep winter atmosphere, and we will see scenes of snow, God willing. It is worth noting that some of the peaks of Mount Hermon are more than 2800 meters above sea level, and are among the highest mountain peaks in the Levant and the Arabian Peninsula.

And God knows best.
