Therefore, southern Iraq, Kuwait, eastern Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, especially the interior and desert regions, as well as the Sultanate of Oman, especially the interior regions, are expected to be affected by a long and exhausting heat wave that will last for several consecutive days.

Maximum temperatures are expected to rise during this period to levels approaching or exceeding 50 degrees Celsius in many areas, for the first time this summer, while the daytime will be noticeably hot and exhausting.
