A rare event that happens every 7 years... 3 consecutive sermons in Dhul-Hijjah

Weather of Arabia - This year's Hajj season 2024 will witness three consecutive sermons, beginning with the "Friday" sermon on the Day of Tarwiyah, then the "Day of Arafat" sermon, and finally the blessed Eid al-Adha sermon.

These sermons will include religious messages about mercy, peace and love, emanating from the holiest parts of the earth on God’s best days to the entire world.

Who are the preachers of the Hajj season 1445/2024?

Perfusion day

Today, Friday, is the Day of Tarwiyah, as pilgrims flock to the Sacred Mosque of Mina to spend the Day of Tarwiyah, following the Sunnah of the Chosen One, may God bless him and grant him peace. The Friday sermon was delivered at the Grand Mosque by Sheikh Dr. Bandar Balila, while it was delivered at the Prophet’s Mosque by Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari bin Awad Al-Thubaiti.

ARAFFA day

As for the Arafa Day sermon, which is considered the greatest day of the year, it will be delivered on Saturday by Sheikh Dr. Maher Al-Muaiqly. The Day of Arafah is God’s best day, as mercy is descended, prayers are answered, and God forgives His repentant servants, and it comes before the Day of Sacrifice.

It is recommended to fast on the Day of Arafah for non-Hajj pilgrims, as it is a Sunnah confirmed by the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while it is disliked for a Hajj pilgrim to fast so that he can perform the rituals of Hajj and pray strongly.

The first day of Eid al-Adha

On Sunday, the worshipers will lead the Eid al-Adha prayer and sermon at the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, while the worshipers will lead the Eid al-Adha prayer and sermon at the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Sulaiman Al-Muhanna.

These sermons come during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, the days in which deeds are preferred over other days of the year, as the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “There is no work more pure in the sight of God Almighty nor greater in reward than the good that he does in the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. ..”.

50 languages

The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced the preparation of an exceptional operational plan for these three successive sermons. Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais confirmed that the Presidency pays special attention to this event, and has formed a committee to prepare a standard plan to make the most of the outcomes of these sermons to religiously enrich the guests of God, deliver its message globally, highlight the Kingdom’s efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their attendees, and promote moderation and moderation.

This year, the Arafa sermon will be translated into 50 languages, so that the Arafa pulpit is considered the most prominent annual religious message emanating from the holiest parts of the earth to the world, carrying the message of peace, love and tolerance from the source of Muhammad’s message to all countries and peoples of the world.
