The main reason for these precipitations is the blowing of humid southwesterly winds or the so-called "monsoon" . These humid winds soon reach the coasts of Pakistan until they begin to intensify and rain thunderclouds form supported by low surface atmospheric pressure values, so that coastal areas in particular have the greatest share of being affected by these thunder clouds Which brings huge amounts of rain, and the tropical clouds gradually deepen towards the interior with the months of July and August.

With the presence of India's seasonal depression, these winds meet with the warm winds coming from the mountain ranges such as Himalaya and Zagros, and convective clouds intensify, which leads to large precipitation of nearly 300 mm barrier within a few hours, and thus floods and torrential rains are formed in various areas, especially mountainous ones. The extent of saturation of wet winds is related to what is known as the tropical interval or ITCZ, which is the peak of its flow towards those areas, which is mostly in the current month of August.
