“Agriculture”: the arrival of limited quantities of desert locusts in the Ruwaished area

Arab Weather - The Ministry of Agriculture confirmed today, Tuesday, in a statement that it is following the arrival of limited quantities of desert locusts in the Ruwaished area near the Iraqi and Syrian borders.

The statement stated that the minister in charge, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, instructed the competent cadres to move to the area, conduct a comprehensive survey, assess the situation and intervene through the control procedures according to the locust control plan if necessary.

He also instructed the operation rooms for the Desert Locust in the Ministry and directorates in the governorates to work according to the plan in this regard.
