“Agriculture”: the arrival of limited quantities of desert locusts in the Ruwaished area

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Arab Weather</strong> - The Ministry of Agriculture confirmed today, Tuesday, in a statement that it is following the arrival of limited quantities of desert locusts in the Ruwaished area near the Iraqi and Syrian borders. </p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><br /><br /> The statement stated that the minister in charge, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, instructed the competent cadres to move to the area, conduct a comprehensive survey, assess the situation and intervene through the control procedures according to the locust control plan if necessary. </p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><br /><br /> He also instructed the operation rooms for the Desert Locust in the Ministry and directorates in the governorates to work according to the plan in this regard. </p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p>
