And Al-Misnad said, through his Twitter account: Thunder occurs as a result of the occurrence of lightning, and lightning occurs as a result of a vertical movement, and activity in the convective winds (lifting winds), and the latter is generated when the weather is hot or at least warm, as hot moist air rises to the top and clouds form. .

And he continued: Then the raindrops begin to fall, but the lifting winds prevent them. Then you raise it again to the top, and a collision occurs between billions of water and ice droplets, which generates electric charges in the body of the cloud, so the discharge occurs through lightning, then thunder is heard.

Al-Misnad added: The drops of hot weather are characterized by being large, dense, and short-lived, as in the spring and autumn seasons or mountain heights.
