`Aman` ... an application launched by the Ministry of Health to protect citizens and society from the spread of the `Corona` epidemic

Arab Weather - In order to preserve the health of citizens and society from infection with the Corona virus, the Ministry of Health launched a safety application ( you can download it from here ) , through alerts that reveal the possibility of exposure to the Corona virus, which leads to a faster stop the chain of infections .

The aim of the security application to detect exposure to the virus by using geographical positioning system technology (GPS), and later Bluetooth, which makes tracing and isolation of cases of infection with Corona emerging faster and more efficient, leading to contain the virus and ensure the safety of its users, their families and their community.

How does Aman app work?

Aman app works in two interrelated ways:

• The first method : The application saves the location data exclusively on the user's phone to compare the user’s movement with the movement of users who can be diagnosed later with the new Corona virus by the Ministry of Health.

In the event that a meeting occurs between the user and another person who is confirmed infected with the virus at a later time, the application sends an alert to users who were present in the vicinity of the infected person according to the place and time. The application also provides instructions and steps to be taken after receiving the alert.

• The second method : the user diagnosed with the new Corona virus from this method can retrieve his whereabouts and movements over the last 14 days through the application with ease, including dates, times and places in which he was present.

The primary goal of this level is to alert other users who happen to be in the vicinity of the diagnosed user, which ultimately speeds up diagnosis of infections and control of the spread of the virus.

Why is the importance of a security app?

• Aman application to protect citizens and society, Jordan's success in combating the Coronavirus depends on citizens by downloading the Aman application that alerts family members if they are exposed to the virus and have had contact with an infected person.
• A security application that protects business and employees, it reduces the speed of infection spread among employees, and research indicates that we need at least 55% of Jordanians and their guests to download the application to prevent the spread of infection and reduce the closure and the ban.
• Security that respects privacy, as downloading the application does not need to disclose any personal information, and violates the privacy.
