Arab Weather - The capital, Amman, recorded its warmest minimum temperature in 25 years during the heat wave. According to data from the Amman Civil Airport station in the Marka area, last Monday saw an extremely warm minimum temperature of 31.8 degrees Celsius, the highest minimum temperature recorded in Amman since at least 2000.
According to archived data from Amman Civil Airport dating back to 2000, the highest minimum temperature recorded in the Kingdom was in August 2015, reaching 30.8°C. The current heat wave thus sets a new record for minimum temperatures in the capital, Amman.
It is worth noting that the Kingdom is still under the influence of a heat wave for the seventh consecutive day today, Thursday. It is expected that the heat wave will begin to recede tomorrow, Friday, and will completely recede on Saturday, and the weather will return to normal summer weather in various regions of the Kingdom during the day and pleasant at night, God willing.
