Aqaba Governor: 18 members of Syrian families trapped by floods in Al-Quwayrah were rescued today

The governor of Aqaba announced a short while ago the success of the rescue teams in an emergency humanitarian event, and the operation included the rescue of 18 people from Syrian families who had been stranded in the Al-Quwaira area.

The governor confirmed that the people who were rescued, who are from Syrian families, were in danger due to weather conditions and the formation of flash floods in that area.

He added that accommodation was immediately secured for them in the facilities of the Aqaba Youth Directorate, where all the necessary housing and relief requirements were provided for them.
