Clouds are expected to gradually increase starting in the afternoon over limited areas of the Empty Quarter and southern Riyadh, reaching Najran. They will later develop into cumulonimbus clouds accompanied by varying degrees of rainfall and active surface winds that will stir up dust and sand.

The highlands of Jazan and Asir will remain under the influence of humid monsoon winds, contributing to the re-formation of cumulus clouds during the afternoon hours, with the possibility of showers of rain, which may be heavy at times, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and hail at times.
