Arab Weather - Several countries in the region recorded scorching temperatures on Saturday, exceeding 100 degrees Celsius. Kuwait topped the global rankings as the hottest country, with Kuwait International Airport recording 50.1 degrees Celsius, one of the highest readings recorded yesterday.
In Saudi Arabia, the holy sites recorded 48.6 degrees Celsius in Arafat, while it approached 48 degrees in other areas such as Dammam and Al-Ahsa.
In the Sultanate of Oman, temperatures reached their peak in Fahud, reaching 48.4 degrees Celsius, as an extremely hot air mass continued to affect the Arabian Peninsula.
