And he indicated that the measurement was made using advanced and modern devices that operate with laser beams, and that the team found rocky outcrops in the tunnel walls at different heights, as each protrusion contains an oval cavity in order to know the level or height of the water inside the tunnel during different time periods.

Scientists and researchers in Jordan demanded that the historic tunnel that was dug to transport water through the cities of the Decapolis be returned to the local tourist map, after being marginalized for several years.
