Civil Defense warns of the dangers of sleeping with all types of heaters on.

The Civil Defense Directorate reiterated the need to adhere to safety procedures while using heating appliances, following the unfortunate incidents of the past few days that resulted in injuries and deaths caused by leaks of heater gas and the toxic gases emitted from them.

The directorate stressed the danger of sleeping with all types of heaters on, emphasizing the need to close the main gas valve at the source (the cylinder), especially when using heaters that lack sensors to measure levels of toxic gases or detect leaks.
The directorate also urged citizens to ventilate their homes regularly to refresh the air and reduce the accumulation of harmful gases, in order to protect their health and the health of their families.
