Tafila Technical University: University President, Professor Hassan Mohammed Al-Shalabi, announced the postponement of all exams and discussions scheduled for Tuesday to Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the same times. It was also decided to postpone the start of the workday for employees to 10:00 AM, with the exception of those whose work requires otherwise. The university administration confirmed that the emergency committee will remain in continuous session to monitor developments.

 

Al-Hussein Bin Talal University: The President of the University, Professor Dr. Atef Al-Kharabsheh, announced the postponement of all final exams scheduled for Tuesday to Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the same times and halls, with the suspension of work for employees except for those whose work nature requires otherwise.

 

Amman Arab University: It has been decided to suspend classes for Tuesday and convert lectures to a distance learning system, while postponing laboratories, theoretical and practical exams and master's thesis discussions to a later date to be announced by the relevant colleges, with the exception of those whose work nature requires otherwise.
