Arab Weather - Continuous update on the regions, schools and universities that decided to suspend studies on Thursday due to weather conditions:

• Petra: Due to the emergency weather conditions and to preserve the safety of our students, His Excellency the Director of Education for Petra District, Dr. Imad Al-Safasfa, in coordination with His Excellency the Governor of Ma'an and His Excellency the Governor of Petra District, decided to suspend school hours for tomorrow, Thursday, corresponding to 2/6/2025 AD.

• Karak: His Excellency the Director of Education for the Karak Region, Mr. Samer Al-Majali, in coordination with His Excellency the Governor of Karak, Dr. Qablan Al-Sharif, decided to #suspend work in all schools of the Karak Region Education Directorate, both governmental and private, tomorrow, Thursday 2/6/2025, due to the prevailing weather conditions in the governorate, and that the Education Directorate’s work will be at nine o’clock in the morning; to ensure the safety of students.

• Tafilah: His Excellency the Director of Education for the Tafilah Region, Mr. Imran Al-Lasama, in coordination with His Excellency the Governor of Tafilah, Dr. Omar Al-Zayoud, decided to suspend work in all public and private schools in Tafilah Education tomorrow, Thursday 2/6/2025, due to the prevailing weather conditions in the governorate, and that the Education Directorate will work at nine o’clock in the morning, in order to ensure the safety of students.

• The Director of Education for the Basir District in Tafilah, Jazaa Al-Rufou, in coordination with the Governor of the Basir District, Ali Al-Zaidan, decided to suspend the district’s schools on Thursday, and to delay the directorate’s employees’ work until nine in the morning.

• Shobak: Director of Education for Shobak District, Muhammad Salama Al-Shaqirat, decided to suspend classes in the district’s schools tomorrow, Thursday, due to the prevailing weather conditions.
