The rally track this year consists of an introductory stage, and 14 regular stages, as drivers start the rally with an introductory trip from the Red Sea beaches from the Al-Bahr camp in Yanbu, before heading to the far southeast, passing through Al-Ula, Hail, Dawadmi, Riyadh, Haradh, the Empty Quarter, and Shaybah. Participants are scheduled to begin arriving in the Kingdom on December 27 and 28, with the preliminary stage and opening ceremony taking place on December 31, before the start of official competitions on January 1.
