Due to the solar storm... a disruption in Starlink services that provide Internet services via satellite

Weather of Arabia - Starlink , which provides internet services via satellite, and is affiliated with billionaire Elon Musk's company, SpaceX , warned on Saturday of a "service disruption" due to the planet Earth being exposed to the largest geomagnetic storm in two decades as a result of solar activity.

Starlink owns about 60% of the roughly 7,500 satellites orbiting Earth, making it a dominant player in the satellite Internet space.

In a previous post on the X platform, Musk confirmed that the Starlink satellites are facing great pressure as a result of a geomagnetic solar storm, but they are still working properly so far.

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported that this storm is the largest of its kind since October 2003, and is expected to continue on Saturday and Sunday, posing a threat to many services such as navigation systems, electricity networks, and satellite communications.

Thousands of Starlink satellites, which are located in low Earth orbit, rely on laser links between them to exchange data at the speed of light, enabling them to provide comprehensive Internet coverage around the world.
