Weather of Arabia - The Egyptian National Institute for Astronomical Research announced, at dawn on Saturday 4-15-2023, that the stations of its national seismic network had recorded an earthquake measuring 4.57 degrees on the Richter scale, 37 km northeast of Hurghada, overlooking the Red Sea. .

The astronomical institute said, in a statement: "The earthquake, which was felt by the residents of Hurghada, occurred at exactly 01:58 am local time."

The statement added that this tremor, which hit the city, did not cause any loss of life or property.
