Ras Al Khaimah Police leads efforts during weather fluctuations

Ras Al Khaimah Police announced that it achieved zero reports of serious accidents during the recent period of weather fluctuations, thanks to the continued distribution of traffic patrols on internal and external roads. This distribution aims to deal immediately with any emergency and ensure the smooth flow of traffic, especially on roads that are prone to congestion as a result of rainwater accumulation.

The police also enhanced the readiness of its security personnel in the operations room to receive calls and respond to inquiries around the clock, through the numbers designated for emergency and non-emergency cases. 1,566 calls were handled during the previous days, in line with the directions of the UAE government and the vision of the wise leadership to achieve security and safety.

In addition, the Department of Media and Public Relations at Ras Al Khaimah Police worked to enhance awareness among members of society through its official platforms, where 55 awareness leaflets were published, benefiting approximately 80,000 individuals .
