Good amounts of rain were recorded by the Arab Weather stations until Friday afternoon 2/7/2025

Arab Weather - The Kingdom was affected after an interruption of more than 60 days by the first winter weather system in the form of a low-pressure system classified for the first time this winter, carrying the third degree, which is the degree that includes medium to highly effective low-pressure systems. The low-pressure system, thank God, brought rainy weather to many regions in good quantities, and the rain was in the form of showers in some periods over the northern and southern peaks.

The following are the amounts of rainfall recorded according to the Arab Weather meteorological stations:

Ajloun - Rasoun: 75.9 mm

Karak - Palace: 64.5 mm

Irbid - Northern District: 63.7 mm

Amman - South Bnayyat: 61.2 mm

Marj Al Hamam: 71 ml

Sumac mother: 80 ml

Luster: 75 ml

Haj Hassan suburb: 70 ml

Flower District: 81 ml

Naour: 81 ml

Amman Mountain: 67 ml

Tabarbour: 53 ml

Dabouq: 66 ml

Sidewalk: 31 ml

Volume: 46 ml

The low pressure system brings good amounts of rain, which has partially improved the rainy season.

After reviewing the readings from the weather stations, weather experts at the Arab Weather Center said that the low pressure system brought good amounts of rain, which gave impetus to a partial improvement in the rainy season, especially in the northern and central regions, including agricultural areas that had suffered from both issues earlier in the current rainy season. The rains from the low pressure system also contributed to increasing the Kingdom’s rainfall reserves, in addition to contributing to the agricultural sector and improving soil moisture, God willing.

The low pressure system recorded good amounts of rain, which led to a relative adjustment in the performance of the rainy season. The highest amounts of rain were in the north of the Kingdom, ranging from 40-80 mm of rain, followed by the central region and the capital Amman, between 35-60 mm. The southern regions, specifically Madaba and Karak, also received good amounts of rain, ranging from 25-55 mm of rain, thanks be to God.
